Carnival in Las Palmas

Tons of people dancing like crazy in the most different variants of costumes in the middle of the street of Las Palmas can only mean one thing;

CARNIVAL!

Toneladas de personas bailando en los más variopintos disfraces en medio de las calles de Las Palmas, sólo puede significar una cosa;

CARNAVAL!

After already 'celebrating' one of the most important festivals of Gran Canaria at school, together with my host family and some of their friends I went to watch the huge Carnival-Parade in Las Palmas.

Tras celebrar uno de los festivales más importantes en el instituto, también fui a ver junto a mi familia y sus amigos la enorme cabalgata de Carnaval.

 

Also on Thursday there was another festival called 'Indianos' where people come together in white clothing and throw at each other with white powder. I went there with some of my spanish friends and had a lot of fun!

También hubo otra fiesta, llamada "Los Indianos", dónde la gente vestida de blanco se reúne y se tiran polvos talcos unos a otros. Fui con algunos amigos españoles del instituto.
