Último campamento / last camp

Last weekend I participated in my last Camp with the Scouts. Together with other camping groups of Las Palmas and Tenerife we stayed 3 days in the mountains of Grand Canary and had a great time. As always I met lots of new people and enjoyed my last time with the Scouts. 

La semana pasada fui a mi ultimo campamento con los Scouts. Juntos con otros grupos de Las Palmas y Tenerife nos quedamos tres días en las montañas de Gran Canaria y lo pasé genial. Como siempre conocí a mucha gente nueva y disfruté de mi último campamento con los Scouts. 

The last two weeks

Hello everyone!

I totally forgot to mention that last week my exchange partner arrived in Grand Canary and is now back home. In exactly one week I have to go back to Germany and I'm kinda really looking forward to it, since I will finally see my family and my friends, but on the other hand I really don't want to leave the island.  It makes me sad to know that I have to leave all my canarian friends and family that I have learned to love the last three month so much. The time just went by way too quickly!

Since the last few days didn't happen anything special, I will end this post with a random photo I took the last day. 

Ps: Tomorrow there will be another blog post about my camp last weekend.

Olvidé contarles que la semana pasada mi compañero del intercambio llegó a Gran Canaria y ya está en casa. En una semana tengo que volver a Alemania. Por un lado tengo muchas ganas de finalmente ver a mi familia y mis amigos, pero por otro lado no quiero dejar la isla. Me entristece saber que tengo que dejar a mi familia y mis amigos canarios a los que he aprendido a querer en estos últimos tres meses. Definitivamente, el tiempo ha pasado volando.

Como los días pasados no pasó nada especial, voy a terminar este post con una foto que saqué el último día. 

Ps; Mañana hay otro post del campamento del fin de semana pasado. 

Dolphins

On Friday I went together with my class to the South of Grand Canary to see some dolphins, wales and turtles in the ocean. Sadly we didn't see any wales but many beautiful dolphins and a turtle. 

El viernes fui conmi curso al Sur de Gran Canaria para ver delfines, ballenas y tortugas. No encontramos ballenas pero sí muchos delfines y una tortuga.

3. I know, this post is a little late but the last few days I was pretty busy with schoolstuff so I didn't really managed to write another post, I'm sorry. Anyway, this is what we ate with the whole family on Easter break. It's very tipical food which you eat in Grand Canary on easter holydays.

Sè que este post llega un  poquito tarde, pero los ultimos días he estado muy ocupada con trabajo del colegio y  no he tenido mucho tiempo para escribir este blogpost, lo siento en cualquier caso, aquí se puede ver lo que comimos con toda la familia en Semana Santa. Es comida tipica canaria que se come en pascua.

12. After dinner we went on a walk in the woods (we got lost a few times).

Lanzarote

Hello everyone!

Like I already told you, the last week we  had easter holidays and it couldn't have been better!

Cómo ya les conté en mi último post, la semana pasada había vacaciones de semana santa y no pudieron ser mejor.

The morning after the Camp, I flew together with my host mother and Hannes to the island of Lanzarote, where we stayed for a night in a hotel near the airport. After we arrived, we spent our time by staying in the hotel all day and relaxing in the sun ( I got a sunburn, of course! ), so we would have enough strength for the next day, where we went on a 7 hour trip around the island, which was insane!

La mañana después del campamento, volé con mi madre española y Hannes a la isla de Lanzarote, dónde nos quedamos en un hotel cerca del aeropuerto y la playa. Después de nuestra llegada pasamos casi todo el día en nuestro hotel, relajándonos al Sol ( claro que me quemé ), para tener fuerza para el  día siguiente en el que íbamoa a hacer una excursión de mas o menos 7 horas por toda la isla que fue impresionante.

At first we rode a camel ( highlight of the day!! ) to see the volcanic landscape, which was really impressive!

Primero montamos en camellos para ver la naturaleza volcánica de la isla ( esto fue lo mejor del día ). A mi me pareció  impresionante, porque en casi todas partes había paisajes volcánicos! 

On the two following photos you can see some kind of a volcanic 'lake' which really impressed us, since we had never seen such clear water! (Oh, and those white things you can see in the water are tiny crabs.)

En las siguientes dos fotos pueden observar una especie de lago volcánico que realmente nos impresionó, ya que nunca habíamos visto un agua tan clara. ( ah, por cierto, las cosas blancas pequeñas que se ven son minúsculos escarabajos, del lugar)

To sum everything up; I had a few great days!

Ps: My english is getting worse and worse, I'm sorry! 

Resumiendo; pasé unos días maravillosos

Sunset / Puesta de sol

Hello everyone! 

Just wanted to show you those pictures I took of the beautiful sunset high up the mountains  on Sunday. This weekend I participated in another camp and I'm pretty glad I did. We were more or less than 50 people and I made loads of new friends! I'm really enjoying those Camps and I already know, that this camping thing will be one of those things, that I'm really gonna miss when I'm back in Germany.

Sólo quería mostrarles los fotos que saqué de la puesta de sol en las cumbres de la isla este domingo. Este fin de semana participé en otro campamento y estoy muy feliz de haberlo hecho. Éramos más o menos 50 personas e hice muchos nuevos amigos. Estoy disfrutando muucho de estos campamentos y ya sé que es una de las cosas que más voy a echar de menos, cuando vuelva a Alemania. 

PS: Since we are on vacation right now, today I will fly to Lanzerote together with Hannes and my host mother!

PS: Como tenemos vacaciones, hoy voy a volar a Lanzarote con Hannes y mi madre española!

Thursday & Friday

Together with many young students from Sweden, Finland, Norwegen and Bulgaria who also took part in a project of the organisation Erasmus+ (just like we do), we visited the botanic garden on Thursday. 

Juntos con muchos jovenes de los países de Suecia, Finlandia, Noruega y Bulgaria, que participaron en otro projecto de la organisación Erasmus+ (como nosotros) el jueves visitamos el Jardín Botánico.

El viernes fuimos todos al Sur para ver las Dunas de Maspalomas e ir a la playa de Puerto Rico, en la que hicimos algunas actividades acuáticas, como por ejemplo kayaking, que me encantaron.

On Friday we went to the South of Grand Canary, where we visited the dunes of Maspalomas. After that in Puerto Rico there were some water activities like kayaking planned, which I really enjoyed. 

Unfortunately I couldn't take part in the other activities since I felt sick almost the whole week, but at least I had two great days with even better people. 

Desafortunadamente, no pude participar en las otras actividades, ya que estuve enferma en casa casi toda la semana, pero al menos pude disfrutar de los últimos días con gente maravillosa.
